The following image reference guides highlight the major images used in a portal and WSS site. The guides are organized by area of the page and include the file name, function, any associated CSS information and a sample screenshot of the image location on the screen. Use these guides to identify images that can be replaced for your custom branding and installation or to quickly reference file name and CSS information for customization.
The images are grouped by area of the site, and then alphabetized by file name. In several instances a black arrow is used to point to the image. This has been done because the image is too small to display on its own.

The following images are used for both SPS and WSS sites.
The paths listed refer to either file locations (directory\filename.extension) in the SharePoint 60 hive, or URL locations in a site (/directory/pagename.extension).
