Ok guys, what's the password? Obviously I am missing something and the portrait of the fat lady isn't letting me into the common room.
I have been emailing assorted people trying to find out how to start a SharePoint User Group in Houston, and I have come up with zilch so far. Maybe I should be taking more initiative here, but like the rest of us I work full time, have pet projects, and I need a bit of a leg up to get things going.
I know blogs are for opinions and not questions, but this isn't exactly great newsgroup fodder. Anyone have some advice on how to get the ball rolling? I have emailed the MSFT developer evangelist for my neck of the woods and have not received a response.
I have never been a member of a user group, so I haven't the slightest idea as to what to do, just seems such a shame that such a large city doesn't have something like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
